CNC 5-axis milling machines are devices that are used to make bulky parts. Most often these are foundry models, for thermoforming and laminate forms. These machines can be made in a very wide range of workspaces.
They are equipped with a high-end control system, allowing simultaneous interpolation of all axes with projection of the speed of operation on the forehead of the tool. Five-axis CNC milling machines are also used for manufacturing after thermoforming or lamination. Finishing, cutting off traps and shaping machining can be machined on the basis of scanned shapes with a touch head. This allows you to perform finishing work without the need for expensive CAM software.
Five-axle machines are equipped with spindles from 5kW to 30kW. Kimla’s 5D milling heads are based on the loose-free harmonic gears of the German company Harmonic Drive. This ensures high rigidity while maintaining very high performance and movement dynamics. Thanks to the innovative control system, the performance of Kimla’s CNC 5 axis milling machines repeatedly exceeds similar solutions offered by other manufacturers.
