CNC Control System

Each CNC machine tool is equipped with a control system that determines the capabilities of the device. The simplest systems only offer the ability to load the toolpath from a file and start processing. More extensive systems allow, among other things, to perform simulation before machining, change parameters and tool path settings.

Control systems offered by our company offer many more possibilities. The input format of the work does not always have to be a ready tool path taking into account the tool diameter correction, because the built-in CAM module can generate it directly on the basis of outlines and sketches from any vector software, e.g. AutoCad, Corel, Designer, etc. climb or counter cut, multi-step cutting, pocket selection with island detection, corner cutting with engraving cutters, support for various tool shapes, setting beginnings and machining sequence, vertical, ramp, helical and side plunging.

The system is also equipped with an editor that allows drawing and correcting projects. The editor integrates single-line fonts with Polish characters, support for TTF Windows fonts and a module for automatically assigning consecutive numbers (e.g. on rating plates, etc.). An unusual option is the ability to model the curvature of the material surface, which allows engraving at a constant depth on convex or curved materials. Our system also supports the interpolated and indexed 4th rotary axis in simultaneous mode, enabling the machining of cylindrical surfaces. The Kimla control system supports up to 16 interpolated axes, including an active knife, 4 axis on a spindle, double gate drive, control of an active knife and a saw, operation of 5-axis machines.
In the case of processing complex 3D shapes, we can also use ISO CNC files generated by any CAM system, including circular, helical and circular 3D interpolation, including support for 5-axis machines with dynamic translation of the path to the tool length. In addition, full visualization on the processing computer screen during the machine operation in real time allows us to avoid many mistakes and errors, be aware of the work progress and estimate the time of its completion.
